Q: Do I need to register an account?
A: No. Completely free, no registration required, install and use immediately.
Q: Will my data be uploaded?
A: Absolutely not. All processing is done in your browser locally, with no communication to any servers. Your privacy and data are completely secure.
Q: Which websites are supported?
A: Supports almost all websites, including dynamic webpages and single-page applications (SPA). Whether articles, blogs, documents, or e-commerce pages, they can all be perfectly converted.
Q: Are links in the PDF clickable?
A: Yes! As long as you check the "Preserve Links" option, all links in the generated PDF will be clickable.
Q: Why do I need to manually save the PDF?
A: This is a Chrome browser security restriction. Using the native browser print function is the most stable and compatible solution, ensuring 100% style preservation.
Q: What if the converted PDF styles are incorrect?
A: Please ensure you have checked "Preserve Complete Styles" and "Include Background Images" options. If the problem persists, the webpage might be using special print styles (@media print). Try adjusting browser zoom level before converting.
Q: Can I batch convert multiple pages?
A: The current version does not support batch conversion. This feature is in our development roadmap for future versions.
Q: Which browsers are supported?
A: Currently supports Chrome, Edge, Brave, and other Chromium-based browsers.
Q: Is there a file size limit for conversion?
A: No limits. Since all processing is done locally, conversion speed and quality only depend on your device performance and webpage complexity.
Q: Is the extension open source?
A: Yes! This extension is completely open source, using MIT License. You can view the source code on GitHub, and contributions are welcome.
